The water and boats go by. Our historic location has been a downtown dining tradition for over 100 years and is the last remaining part of Water Streets notorious "Hell's Half Mile" District.
 The Kingfish Restaurant location is in the heart of beautiful downtown Bay City directly across from the Bay City Antique Center which is considered by AAA Travel Guide as the "Best" in the state of Michigan. Adjacent from the Kingfish is St. Laurent Brothers Candy Shoppe, one of the largest in the state that's been in business over 100 years. The rest of our neighborhood is made up of many delightful stores and shops, perfect for before or after dining shopping.
The Kingfish also features "Dockside" - Our outdoor restaurant which is situated on four levels of deck - all of which overlook the historic Saginaw River. The Dockside facility is one of the largest outdoor restaurants in the state with seating for over 200+ and boat docking for at least a dozen boats. We feature live music outdoors (weather permitting) Thursday-Sunday each week. The dockside experience is fun - like a picnic - and features a "Beautiful Sunset" each evening.
The Kingfish and Dockside facilities are able and available to accommodate all types of private parties, special events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, class reunions, bridal or baby showers, bus trips and just about any other events you may be interested in.
